Gents Silver Heavy Claddagh Ring
Gents Silver Heavy Claddagh Ring
The claddagh was invented by Galway fisherman Richard Joyce in the 17th century. He was due to marry his love but was captured by Algerian pirates and sold into slavery. Many years later, he was released from slavery and returned to his fiancé, who had waited for him. He handcrafted and gifted her the very first claddagh ring as a token of his adoration. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty.
The gents heavy claddagh ring is made of sturdy, quality sterling silver. It is expertly designed, crafted, and detailed in Ireland.
This ring has been Irish hallmarked in Dublin Castle.
