Asymmetrical Green & White CZ Claddagh Ring
Asymmetrical Green & White CZ Claddagh Ring
The claddagh was invented by Galway fisherman Richard Joyce in the 17th century. He was due to marry his love but was captured by Algerian pirates and sold into slavery. Many years later, he was released from slavery and returned to his fiancé, who had waited for him. He handcrafted and gifted her the very first claddagh ring as a token of his adoration. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty
Beautifully etched with the words, "Love, Loyalty, and Friendship," this sterling silver ring is a breathtaking take on ancient Irish tradition. The ornate pattern includes a highly detailed set of hands, a shining crown, and a bejeweled heart. The four cubic zirconia crystals set in the heart add a modern touch to this classic beauty.
Irish Hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office.
