Women in Celtic Myth

This selection of eleven stories-- some more than 3,000 years old-- focuses on the women of ancient Celtic mythology, from the formidable warriors who trained heroes to fight and kill, to beautiful companions with high levels of intuition and spiritual wisdom. Caldecott provides lucid commentary that illuminates the culture from which these myths spring.
