Centuries prior to the invention of print, Irish monks were hand-lettering and preserving texts on parchment. Celtic artist Kevin Dillon uses the same techniques they did to revive the dying art of hand-lettering. With a mortar and pestle, he grinds semi-precious stones into paint and meticulously applies it to fine vellum. At the end of his process, he uses 24-carat gold leaf for illumination.

Each Celtic manuscript print is a careful reproduction of Kevin Dillon's unique and detailed pieces.
