St. Brigid's Cross Emblem

St Brigid, the patron of healers and midwives, is the most important of Ireland's female saints. Traditionally, the Irish will weave her cross from reeds on the 1st of every February to celebrate the arrival of spring. Then, the cross is hung by the door to protect the home.

This piece has a polished pure bronze finish and a ceramic resin cold cast pouring.
