Silver Viking Rune Pendant 'Remember'

2000 years ago, ancient Norsemen used a writing system called Younger Futhark-- known to us as Runes. The runic alphabet was used for communication by Vikings of the time. However, the symbols are more than simple letters. The Norsemen gave each one a name based on its spiritual meaning. They were commonly used in spiritual practices. Even today, runes are often used (alone or in combination with one another) for divination and manifestation.

This oxidized sterling silver pendant features bright runes raised against a dark base. It is based on an ancient poem, written below:

"Remember me, I remember you. Love me, I love you." (Norse love poem c.1198).
