Black CZ Sterling Silver Dragon Pendant
Black CZ Sterling Silver Dragon Pendant
The Celtic dragon is unique. Most cultures represent dragons as towering, frightening symbols of power and authority. They were wise, strong, but unpredictable in their passions. Celts believed something different. Celtic dragons are snakelike serpents with vast magical abilities. They are protectors, healers, and sources of unrelenting wisdom. The ancient Celtic people revered them as a symbol of vast power, but also one of prosperity, spirituality, and intelligence.
This pendant depicts a Celtic dragon in one of its most common poses: biting its own tail. This pose represents the cyclical nature of all worldly things. The body of the serpent is made from a long chain of traditional Celtic knotwork imagery. In the center of the dragon's eye rests a black cubic zirconia stone.
