Connemara Marble & Marcasite Oval Shamrock Pendant

Connemara marble is known as “Ireland’s gemstone” and is only found in the heart of Connemara, Ireland. Because it is a naturally occurring mineral, the color and pattern may vary. This makes each Connemara marble piece unique to its owner.

According to legend, St Patrick himself plucked a Shamrock from the ground and used the three petals to explain the holy Trinity to Irish natives-- one God, three people, one plant, three leaves. Shamrocks are seen as a symbol of luck, faith, and abundance.
