Silver Emerald Cubic Zirconia Shoulders Claddagh Ring
Silver Emerald Cubic Zirconia Shoulders Claddagh Ring
The claddagh was invented by Galway fisherman Richard Joyce in the 17th century. He was due to marry his love but was captured by Algerian pirates and sold into slavery. Many years later, he was released from slavery and returned to his fiancé, who had waited for him. He handcrafted and gifted her the very first claddagh ring as a token of his adoration. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty.
This beautiful Claddagh ring (made of 100% 925 sterling silver) features a vivid emerald in the center, representing the wearer's love for their heritage in the Emerald Isle. The heart is bordered by sterling hands and multiple cubic zirconia stones, which have a durability and fire comparable to that of a diamond.
This sterling silver piece has been Irish hallmarked in Dublin Castle.
